CPAlead respects intellectual property rights and responds to properly formatted notices of alleged copyright infringement. This page explains how copyright owners or their authorized agents can submit a notice and how affected users can submit a counter-notice.
Submit a Copyright Notice
Send copyright or DMCA notices to [email protected]. To help us review the request, include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including enough information for CPAlead to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Counter-Notice
If material was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected]. Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed or disabled material and where it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district, or if you are outside the United States, to a judicial district where CPAlead may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.
Repeat Infringers
CPAlead may disable access to material, remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for repeat infringers or for users who misuse CPAlead services in a way that violates copyright or intellectual property rights.
