How does it work? plano runs in the background of the smartphone or tablet, and if your kids are forming bad device habits, the plano app can help with functions such as ensuring good eye-to-screen distance, smart alerts for resting of eyes, scheduling no-device times, and even remote locking.

EYE HEALTH FUNCTIONS
• Eye-to-screen calibration – plano will make sure children set the correct distance to the device every time they use it.
• Accepted device use times and rest times – plano automatically prompts your kids for rest times based on how long they are on the device.
• Blue light filter – ensure your kids get a good night’s sleep by filtering bright light when they use the device.

PARENTAL CONTROL FUNCTIONS
• Schedule no device times – you no longer have to worry about getting them off the device during dinner. Set the times on the scheduler and plano will ensure the device can’t be used without permission.
• Remote locking – can’t get them off the device? Use the remote lock and you can switch the device off from your phone.

SAFETY FUNCTIONS
• Block Apps and browser – Select what apps they can and can’t view based on app age rating.
• Safe device-use locations – Choose app use locations and receive a notification if your child steps out of the safe-zone.

Your iTunes account will automatically be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period and you will be charged for one month at a time. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings.
